    Feeling younger by getting older

    The project’s objectives were: - to promote the creation of a culture of active ageing as a lifelong process - to ensure that the rapidly-growing population comprised of people who are currently in their late 50s and over have good opportunities for employment and active participation in social and family life, including through volunteering, lifelong learning, cultural expression and sports - to involve young generations in these activities. The project’s benefits were: - finding various ways to connect with each other - developing a different supportive behaviour - bettering the life in the community. The project’s beneficiaries are older and new generations, and institutions. The project realised a collection of good practices and guidelines, a web platform & several multimedia materials. The project's topics which were the objects of the researches and meetings were connected to: - ICTs tools for a better ageing, in the field of on line services for healthcare, transports, social services, adult learning; - free time activities for an active ageing, in the field of art, languages, culture, creativity; - volunteering for an active ageing, in the field of environment, social affairs, children, animals; - ICTs for an active European remembrance, in order to record and share common reminiscences. The project’s activities were: - Research and collection of good practices about the above mentioned topics; - Meetings among the partners, and all the subjects involved in the project's field; - Creation of some elder-friendly guidelines to approach internet resources; - Creation of an internet platform about the shared experiences. The project’s dissemination was through written and/or multimedia materials and ICTs.

  • GUIDELINES FOR SENIORS: easy way to use ICTs

    Project activities allowed partners to generate some guidelines to teach the elders a conscious approach to ICT resources and to give them an opportunity to have a dialogue with younger generation using Open Space Technology. This E- book of guidelines is the main result of this partnership. It contains: 1. General part (in English): ICT tools aiming at social life of elderly people 2. Local part (in all languages of the partnerh ip) ICT tools aiming at local services used by elderly people
